01What exactly is a Claude Code skill?
A SKILL.md file: a written manual (purpose, rules, workflow, output format) that Claude Code reads and follows for a specific kind of task. It's not a plugin or a code library; it's instructions Claude applies while it works.
02What do I receive after purchasing?
A PDF containing the complete SKILL.md prompt, an install walkthrough for both personal and project folders, and use notes covering how to invoke it and what to check before trusting the result.
03Do I need Claude Code?
Yes, these manuals are written for the Claude Code CLI specifically. If you haven't set it up yet, the official skills guide explains installation and the two folder locations skills live in.
04Can I use these skills on multiple projects?
Yes. Save a skill to your personal folder (~/.claude/skills/<name>/) and Claude can use it on every project on your machine, not just one repository.
05Can I edit the skills?
Yes, it's a plain text file you own once purchased. Adjust it for your own workflow freely; the licence covers use inside your own studio, not redistribution of the source file.
06Are updates included?
Not as a subscription, there isn't one. A purchase gets you the current manual. If that changes materially, the change will be reflected on the skill's own catalogue page.
07Can skills be combined?
Yes, and that's most of the value. Install as many as a project needs: Claude applies whichever ones match the task at hand. Bundles simply curate five that are commonly used together.
08Are bundles cheaper than buying separately?
Always, by design. Each bundle holds three Focused and two System skills for less than those five cost separately, and the Full Access pass costs less than any other route to the whole catalogue. Every bundle page shows the individual total, the bundle price and the exact saving in your selected currency.
09How do I install a skill?
Save the PDF's SKILL.md content into ~/.claude/skills/<name>/ (personal, all projects) or .claude/skills/<name>/ (one project only), then invoke it with its slash command or let Claude match it automatically.
10Will these work with existing projects?
Yes. A skill is guidance Claude follows, not code injected into your project: there's nothing to migrate or integrate, so it's safe to add to a project at any stage.
11Are these official Anthropic products?
No. DevLoom is an independent store selling manuals designed for use with Claude Code. It is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by Anthropic.
12Do I need coding experience?
You need to be using Claude Code for real development work already: these manuals raise the standard of that work, but they don't teach you to code or replace a developer's judgement.
13What happens if I already own a skill that's inside a bundle?
Right now, checkout doesn't track past purchases, so a bundle is priced and sold as its own product regardless of what you already own. If you know you want most of a bundle, buying the bundle first is the better order.
